The 1873 Batcheller Mansion Inn was originally home to Civil War veteran and prominent political figure George Sherman Batcheller. Both staff and visitors have reported meeting up with ghosts in the mansion.

    1. I just stayed at this mansion past weekend for my birthday night and my boyfriend shot a photo of me in the parlor at night while we were alone, everyone had already gone to sleep for the night. Later when we returned back home we were looking at our photos & videos from our trip and I found an orb in the top left of the photo by the framed picture on the wall. I tried researching who passed away in the mansion, I can only assume George was on his death bed in his own home as doctors would pay house visits back in those days, also he had two children that died at a very young age as well.
