My mother inlaw just passed and was buried in Woodlawn. My daughters, husband, and I go visit 2-3 times a week. At first I didn’t think much of the way my 4 year old was acting but she claims to see people there all the time. She’s always talking to graves of people she don’t know she can tell me if they are a boy or girl. She says she sees lots of babies there. The first few times we went there she acted really shy and quiet, she wouldn’t really even visit with her granny. She did mention there was a lot of people walking around and there was no one even there, but now she is oh so comfortable that she wants to spend the night there. Last week she asked if she could bring a tent to sleep with her granny and her friends! It a little weird but I really find it all interesting. I can tell you it’s never a boring trip there.

about 8 years ago i was there w a friend and we were takin pics at a tall mosuleum and then my camera was blown out of my and by a unfelt wind, as it was 88 that day and no visible wind. when i went home and looked at my pictures, there was a white orb type light with a face of a woman in it. upon research i found out it was female that was in there.

  3. Me and 3 friends went to the cemetery at 2:45am and walked around for about 20 minutes. There was absolutely nothing to be seen or heard, no cold spots, just tombs like any other cemetery. Highly disappointed.

  4. about 2000 we went to see the old stones at the cemetery and it was so weird we were walking around during the day and there was a young teen girl sitting on a head stone reading / she looked as normal as we did… plain as day she was there in clothes from the 70’s…. we saw her there for a bit and then she disappeared.. she didnt walk away because we would have seen her do that… she didnt look at us but we just thought that was weird she was reading on a head stone… well it was during the day so it was so weird… we had to share this because if someone sees her reading there again she is probably a ghost…. didnt scare us just thought how sad

  5. I have a lot of relatives buried in Woodlawn and try to see them every Memorial Day. So it wouldn’t surprise me to find out the there are ghost there. If you look at some of the headstones, you see that this graveyard goes way back to the 1800’s. Therefore, there might be some ghost or spirits that are restless or haven’t finished any business they left behind.
