  1. It was about 4 years ago my buddys and myself drove out there. We arrived and it was almost 80 degrees outside the grave yard. We walked inside and it was almost 19 degrees cooler inside. Its was very creepy. We felt like we were being followed the whole time. We started my truck to leave and the battery over heated and melted. Ill never forget that day.

The village of Vanderbilt is in Otsego County. The cemetery is in Charlevoix County, about a mile west of the county line. My home is a couple hundred yards from the cemetery. I often go there for some quiet thinking time.

  2. This looks very intriguing, I will let the owners and local police know I’m investigating, is there anyone interested in visiting or showing me around this location?

  3. My wife & I read these comments and decided to drive out there from our Petoskey hotel. We did not experience anything paranormal but the place was absolutely creepy and wonderful. I truly wish we would have gone at night as that would have pretty much made the whole experience. We just did not have the nerve. Anyone wanting to visit absolutely must go there in the dark. The drive alone would be half the anticipation!! It was totally worth the 20 minute drive.
