  1. I have been to this place a few different times. Once at night and once during the day. It is a pretty scary place at night. During the day it just has a really heavy feeling. It is a family cemetary. The first time I went was at night. I counted the steps as I climbed. They are steep stone steps. Not even 5 min after being at the top me and my friends started hearing like hoof steps coming through the woods although you couldn’t see anything. And u started seeing little glowing lights everywhere around the small cemetary. I got a cold chill and got scared of course and decided to run back down the steps counting as I want. Story goes there’s one more step coming down then coming up which is why I counted. We get to the car and we heard a horse sounding like he was grunting through his nose we spin around and there at the top of the steps was the glowing figure of a horse and man in a long trench coat . Needless to say we jumped in the car and left.

    • Do you know if there’s any videos on this Cemetery besides up 43 second one I am going there tonight as a matter of fact

  2. Ive been here during the day and yes there is a heaviness and uneasiness in the air .. ive counted the steps and came up with a different number each time.. Definitely something going on here .. but i do advise do not go during the night because ppl in the area do take the law into their own hands and it is private property

  3. Been there a number of times day and night, grew up by there. There is a “feeling” in the air there. And if you go back far enough there was an even heavier feeling. Never felt threatened there because i wasn’t there to do it “harm”. Love this place. The archway, the stairs up, the feelings…..

    • We have a small paranormal investigating team and we are wanting do investigate the woodlock cemetery. Since it is now private property, who would we need to contact to get permission to do So?

I’ve been going down to where this cemetery is for 40 years. Used to be a pretty place until people started vandalizing it, taking the wrought iron fence pieces and such. It’s all grown over with vines on the hillside and the staircase. It’s a wicken gravesite with the founding members of the family in the middle and the more immediate are circled around them with others buried outside the circle. Never have had a bad experience there except for seed ticks but was always respectful as I would be with anyone. One interesting thing I found out about the family many years ago was they were the oldest wicken family established on record west of Saĺem, Massachusetts… I believe the oldest family record i seen was dated back to like 1680. Dont remember if it was a birthdate of someone or what though.

      • I’m looking to join a paranormal team are you guys looking for any more people I’ve got some footage on my YouTube and on my phone also are some stuff that I’ve done but I would really love to get with the team because I can never find anyone to go with me and it’s just not safe to do it alone and I have a lot of places I want to go I’ve ever been to this location and have pictures and I have a picture of a black orb that I took from the woods there on top of the cemetery but it is absolutely beautiful there you count the steps when you go up and come back down it’s not the same number you can feel yourself losing steps when you’re going down if that makes sense but please get in touch with me if you are looking for more members or people for your team I would love just to go with you guys or even join I’m on Facebook cyndi busse or tiktok Cindybusse2

I have been there. We took pictures and none of the good ones came out. They were like just white when we had them developed….that was back before I had a smart phone….it was so scary. There was like melted glass in strange shapes. I would love to go back now that I’m older. There is a path in the back that snakes around. I walked down it a bit but it was too scary and I went back. I think about this place all the time…..my grandparents tell me very strange stories about this place from their past…

  4. We went there years ago when we were teens. There were 13 of us and it was a full moon so we thought it would be fun, of course we we all drinking too. It’s a kind of creepy place mostly because of where it is, like out in the middle of no where. To get to it you go through an arch way if I remember correct, that has concrete stairs up to the cemetery. Half way up there is like a closed in gazebo. Then you get to the top and go through another arch way that leads into the cemetery. Right in front of you are 2 graves side by side, with a metal fence surrounding them. I think there were pictures on these 2 graves also and the tombstones were much larger than the rest. The graves are in a semi circle. On the left side of where you go in there were several children’s graves from around the same time period. I think the flu or polio or something must have happened at that time. It was a little eerie, but we didn’t see any ghost. The most excitement was from one of our male friends that got spooked and fell in the fenced graves then took off running for the cars. I was there a few other times also but never seen any paranormal things. The wax museum that is on the same gravel road was way creepier than the cemetery.

  5. My cousin lives in Davisville and our family has to drive by this cemetary to get to his house. I have always wanted to do a cemetary revival of the place. It is hauntingly beautiful (no pun intended) and I thought it would be nice to pay respects to the people interred there.
