Parlor Bed and Breakfast
Ironton, MO · Hotels and Inns
This beautiful turreted 1908 house, in the 1960s briefly a funeral home and now an inn, is said to be home to many spirits. They ring the doorbells at all hours, turn clocks and radios on and off, and activate other electrical objects. They may speak to you or touch your face, or materialize as a shadow or apparition. I remember playing on the front porch of this Parlor when I was a child, My dad and my grandmother were in this funeral home. They were both embalmed there and had their funerals there. My dad however was laid out for visitation in our home, He was there two days. Family sat up with him the whole time.
