  1. My children and I had a VERY interesting experience here on Halloween. I took them on a little homemade tour of supposedly haunted spots in Chicago. We stopped by here as they were preparing to open for the evening. The manager was kind enough to let us walk around. When we went upstairs he was recounting stories of hearing and seeing apparitions but I was not able to listen because I could not catch my breath. I felt as though I was being squeezed by some very large person. I excused myself to our host and told him I was having trouble breathing. When I looked over at my oldest daughter she was panicking and told me she was having trouble catching her breath. I then looked to my youngest daughter who said “Mama someone is pulling on the back of my tongue”. I decided we should leave immediately and as we walked down the stairs the feeling lifted and by the time we got to the door and outside it was gone.
