Warren W. Willis United Methodist Camp

Two cabins are alleged to be haunted:

North Boys Cabin 5 – items are moved inside the cabin, particularly suitcases.

Girls Cabin 41A – lights turn on and off, bathroom flushes on its own.

No one feels threatened by these spirits – they just seem to be playful.

  1. I have stayed at warren willis every summer for 7 years in a row. I have stayed in 45A twice, it is defiantly haunted! I often hear the toilets flush randomly.

  2. I was a counselor in 1991. Saw the spirit of a young man with a plaid shirt and light colored eyes several times in various locations in the camp.

  3. C.R. Mustard of MMD  |

Summer of 1993 and 94 I saw this figure of blue eyes and plaid shirt, he came back in 2001 when I became a counselor though then he would wave at me which is more creepier than just staring. He was short, like 2 feet tall.

  4. Me and a few friends were on a school trip and went to cabin 5. We said the normal “if any spirits are present, then let us know.” We waited a few seconds and then heard a bang, then of course, ran away. We also looked through the window and my friends saw a vacuum and said it apparently moved on its own. I however, saw the shadow of a person relatively close to the window. I thought it was a reflection, so I turned but saw no one. It couldn’t have been one of my friends because they had an unrealistic haircut that looked like a man. I didn’t see any other features because it was just a shadow figure.

  5. There was a small glowing green dragon like apparition flying above a group of kids one night. Also we were waking in the wood at night as a group and we all heard what sound like a GIANT stomping through the woods beside us. Entire trees from top to bottom were being rustled. Scared us to death. Cabin 43, lights going off and on in the shower and toilets flushing on their own.
