Walmart on 13th Street

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Walmart on 13th Street

Until January 2013 there was a Walmart on 13th Street, in Gainesville. It’s now shut down (Walmart moved to a larger facility) but we don’t know if anyone told the resident ghost that! A female spirit, possibly an ex-employee, is said to have haunted certain areas of the store in the early morning hours before 7am.

    • My mom was their getting supplies in the outdoors section for my brothers field trip. She grabbed onto a rail and then had a vision of her on the side of the road holding onto a branch. On the road was a car crash with a woman lying dead in the road. There were cops surrounding her body, an ambulance and a fire truck parked on the street. Then she started to pass out when the vision ended. A man saw her and caught her before she hit the floor.

      • She passed from cancer developed due to an untreated genetic blood disorder. No accident nor first responders involved if this makes your mother feel any better.
