Veterans Memorial Park

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Veterans Memorial Park

The ghost who resides here is called Martin, and in life, he was a janitor at this park. Reports say folks who have called the park before opening hours spoke to a man who answered the phone, and his name was Martin. Lights turn on and off and doors open and close by themselves, and the radio station has been known to change to a Spanish station on its own.

  1. I worked at Veterans Memorial Park for 15 years there was a janitor by the name of martin he was 77 years old. He retired and he died shortly at right after one morning 6 o’clock in the morning I walked up to the building I knocked on the glass door standing by the stairs leading dawn towards the basketball gym. It was martin. The custodian open the door for me and I told him who’s here with you he said no one I I told himI could have sworn I just seen my martin going downstairs We search the park and there was no one around. There’s another ghost by the name of ARTURO he haunts the baseball facility Veterans Park myself and another employee seen him walking along side the bleachers.. you also feel a presence in the locker rooms your full tilt a person’s in the locker room it was an honor to work with both of them

  2. I live near veterans park and honestly i have not experince nothing paranormal or creepy and I’m mostly hang out there at night and theres a certain time the commerce safety patrol locks the gates to the park one time me and my friends were hanging out all the way in the back were the restrooms are and the ssecurity didnt see us i guess he thought it was clear to lock the gates and we were locked inside the park late at night and nothing happen i didnt experince anything creepy or odd but anyway me and my friends had to climb the gate in order to get out…. But i dont think its haunted at all for all the years ive gone there nothing ever spooked me.

  3. Used to work there from 6 am to 2 pm it felt creepy in every room you’d walk in alone ecsepcially no one there quiet I was shook af never again. Sad it’s closed 🙁

  4. I was driving by earlier. I had my dog in the car. Out of nowhere, he looked very serious with bis ears perked up, and he started growling as if he saw something. I didn’t see anything at all. But i guess animals can see more than we do.
