    1. Before this was a hotel it was a thrift shop and I had the “pleasure” in 1991 of desperately needing a restroom and went Down to the tiny little bathroom in a shallow basement with rough concrete & cobblestone walls – it was creepy from the get-go and the final touch was the light flickering while I was in mid-process. I could not get out of there fast enough! I never went back to the thrift store. When they built over it, I couldn’t help but wonder if it was still haunted – I just now see this site and that it is. Amazing.
