  1. Visited Rosedown yesterday. It is a wonderful place. The whole property is adorable considering its age. But when we went home and check some pictures, there was an image of an old lady on the mirror at the guest bedroom. I am very sure that there were only 7 of us in the room, the tour guide, four adult tourists and two kids. This old lady appears to be sitting near the bed at reflected in the mirror. It is so spooky.

  2. I say yes, or at least it begs an explanation.I worked at Rosedown in the mid to 90’s, the last owner before the state purchased it. I can’t speak to the mansion, but the side house, where Daniel and Martha retired to, I can speak of. The owner had a second plantation near Savanah, and when he was away, he would ask me to stay on property, in the side house. Waking up to find the blanket no longer on the bed, but against the far fall. And not as if strewn but as if it been held flat against the wall and then slowly lowered to the floor.

  3. I went to Rosedown Plantation today!!! Very beautiful place!! When I got home I started watching the videos I had taken while there! While we were in the kitchen it was my mother, son, daughter, and myself making no strange noises, in my videos someone whispers something and screams!!! It’s so creepy!!! I will definitely be going back!!

  4. Went to Rosedown yesterday. I am not a believer in ghosts. That being said, as we were leaving the grounds I noticed a deer standing at the edge of the woods. I videoed it because it was so still that I didn’t think it was real so I was waiting to see if it moved. Well it did and when I showed the video to someone they asked me if I saw the scary face in the tree in the woods. Naturally, I viewed my video again and there was indeed a haunted tree image. Really weird.

  5. I just got back from Rosedown. Absolutely beautiful. But on our way back to Lake Charles LA I uploaded my pictures from my canon camera. And there was an old lady in the reflection of the library cabinet. Mind you there is no porch extending to the library windows. And there was definitely not an old lady wearing a dress with a collar. The detail is amazing on my photo. I took over 410 pictures there.
