According to local lore, while the mid-1900s building stood abandoned for several years, some teens broke in and held a seance. Afterward, they saw a lumberjack coming toward them from the river. He pointed at them and vanished, scaring the teens half to death. According to locals, the ghostly lumberjack still roams the grounds around the lodge.

  1. BS – The lodge was moved to it’s current location almost 20 years ago.
I owned the lodge for 12 years – no ghosts – ridiculous!

  2. Chilling at location I was doing a paranormal investigation and not only does a man come from the river with an ax he has his Hound of hell that is next to him. Every night about 2:30 in the morning for 3 days in a row I went to the location and I’ll tell you what you see the red eyes of the dog and you hear the growling it is some creepy ass s*** and it’s legit
