    1. Paintsville native  |

I grew up in Paintsville. And growing up going to swim at the pool inside of the ramada inn is what you did for fun/birthday parties/etc. and you’d also get rooms there for parties or other things. However, this is the first I’ve heard of this ghost. I’m going to have to check into it!

    2. My stepmom told me when she worked there she had to clean rooms and stuff and that she was on the second floor at the end and she was cleaning this room and she kept hearing humming but wasn’t really loud but when she went to vacuum the humming got louder and she didn’t know where at what it was and she said that she started to get goosebumps on her arms. She also said that not just her was experiencing this. Even some of the other employees claimed to have seen or heard these things

    3. I worked the grave yard shift one summer, and yes there is something there. The elevators would run all night long with no one in them. You could get into an elevator and the doors would nearly shut then all of a sudden the doors would open up just like somebody else got on the elevator. Once while me and a coworker were upstairs in housekeeping’s storage the light shut completely off by itself. One night while I was doing security checks I went into the employee bathroom and I heard something hitting the lockers it sounded like it was going down the row of lockers and before I could get out of there the lockers were hit three times.

    4. Me and my friends were staying there for a birthday party last weekend and we were in room 216 and we kept hearing the door opening and closing and toilet flushing and foot steps, we were the only ones in the room. We went out in the halls on the 3rd floor and saw kept seeing things.

      • It actually is haunted, fyi, I’ve heard about many hauntings and many other stories at the Ramada Inn, even if it is serine and calming, it can still be haunted, I hope you know that

      • It is very haunted, just an fyi, I know a lot about it and it doesn’t count on how many times you’ve stayed, its about what goes on in general
