Patrick Creek Lodge and Historical Inn

Dating back to 1926, the historic inn and restaurant is rumoured to be haunted by a spirit known as Maude. The story goes that her fiancé jilted her on the day of their wedding, and the distraught young woman hanged herself in Room 16. Ever since, strange occurrences have taken place in that particular suite, as well as in the main dining room.

  1. I was passing along that highway back in 2009 with my freshly weedded fiance. Wi did not stay in the lodge but on the campground in front of it. It must have been September and absolutely noone was there on that campsite. We are from Europe, and I had no idea about that place at all.
We actually had a drink at the bar.
Once back at the van on the campsite we tried to sleep. But some really strange energy prived me from falling asleep. I am a real good sleeper usually.
But that very night on thet campsite I nearly freaked out as the energy was just too much. Absolute horror. We later then talked a bout that a lot and came to the conclusion that the energy was much like that of a place where a genocide had been taken place. Who knows what happened in the Mid 19th Century there with all Californios and Natives.

But that night I did never forget. And I had never heared of Maude before.. until I ran over this site. Totally weired.
