Local legend has it that a young woman called Elizabeth hanged herself here on her wedding night when she caught her husband with someone else. Her ghost has been seen walking the halls in the night.

My family and I went to this lodge and did taunt the spirits yep it’s haunted ❣have fun.
I was there a few years ago with my son. We stayed on the third floor, which I think is the top floor. One evening I stayed in the room to shave and get ready for dinner and sent my 9-year-old son downstairs to meet his friends before dinner. About 30 seconds later I heard the room door open and he was standing next to me, saying he just saw an apparition of a man in a trench coat with a shotgun in the hallway. I also felt the woman’s presence. Very distinctly at the top of the third floor stairs. She very agitated, but didn’t come into our room. I hate this stuff and try to avoid it, but I’m obviously picking up on it anyway.
I was overnight manager for years and ,YES, its haunted.
My daughter and her boyfriend stayed at the lodge and they reserved elizabeths room, when they went to have dinner, my daughter set up my recorder i use for paranormal investigations. it picks up sound very well, anyway as soon as they left the room, there is a sound of a door opening and closing, then footsteps and the sound of a zipper being unzipped Which was my daughters lap top bag) and then very clearly a woman with an english accent says “my that looks very intellectual” then you hear the zipper closing and then footsteps and then a door opening and closing. Then total silence.
