My husband and I stayed at The Old Powder Inn in February 2020 where we were married. We had no paranormal experiences while there. In fact, it was quite peaceful and serene. However, shortly after returning home we started to experience strange happenings in our home. It started with the closet in the master bedroom. After returning home one evening we noticed that the shoe rack was moved away from the wall to the center of the closet and the shoe horn that was up on the shelf had been placed elsewhere. Another time we were watching TV in the family room and my granddaughter’s ball started rolling across the floor. Most recently, while watching TV in the family room we heard a noise coming from the closet. When we went in there we opened the closet door and again found the shoe rack moved away from the wall and one shoe hanging off the shelf. We were living in the house approximately 3 1/2 months before going to St. Augustine and never had anything out of the ordinary happening. It wasn’t until recently that I started to wonder if the “ghost” followed us home. We stayed in the room “Memories.”
