Its not really haunted, its an optical illusion... the hill appears to be facing downward as you are pulled "backwards" "up" the hill when in reality the hill you are on thanks to topigraphical maps is actually at an upward slope.... its all about the geography surrounding you that makes it appear as if you are being forced uphill
