      • I know this is a year too late but I just now found this. The full name of the church is Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist church. The upper story of the church has long been a Masonic lodge meeting point. I have fellow church members who used to attend. They’ve told me that they have heard it is haunted though haven’t seen anything themselves. There’s stories of a little boy who roams the cemetery at night, particularly in the summer. There is also tales of a woman screaming in the night. I believe I’ve heard a woman was hanged there a long time ago. I’ve been to the church several times but never to document a haunting. I get an eerie feeling of being watched from the upper windows.

    1. I have a question about a place my family lived in years ago. It was referred to as the “Ashly place”. It was located around Sulphur Rock. My dad was a young boy at the time, and the whole family thought this place was haunted. Many strange things happened. The house dated back to civil war days. If anyone has any info about the place, I would love to hear. Roy Kidwell.
