My son was in 3rd grade on s class tour. He took pictures in the old school and got reflections in the glass of 2 girls and a boy. He hung back and took pictures.
Went there last night at around 8 with my brother and just walked around and heard a voice of a woman and it sounded like she was really close by but didn’t see anyone anywhere and she said “there they go” and a bunch of other stuff that I couldn’t understand. I was also taking pictures of the building and clock tower and in one of my pictures clearly stands a ghostly figure in one of the second floor Windows.
Sorry Paige. Not seeing it. Haven’t been there in years, (at least to tour the buildings). Do they still have those do-it-yourself plaster of paris mannequins with the painted on faces? I remember the ones in the undertaker’s parlor were extremely creepy. So were the ones in the Howell house.
In high school I went to the charter school that is next door, when they first moved to the building they held some of the classes on the museum grounds in the historical buildings. Once I went to visit a teacher in their classroom on the grounds during lunch in the Standard School building. The teacher wasn’t there but I felt something cold touch me when I looked for him. Never went there alone again. The staff also took my photography class into the basement of the commerce building to look at old photographs and nothing in there felt right; a couple of the staff members showing us around told us about a figure of a man often seen through the shelves of photographs and that none of them will go down there alone.
i go to the charter school and when we have classes in the museum its always creepy like someones is following and yes they still have those freaky manuquinns . shudders .
Visited in April 2017. Went to this museum as a kid and decided to go back and relive those memories. Took this picture at the train station with iPhone on the live pictures. When you see the live pic you can actually see a woman wearing a sort of sun hat with a cloak , carrying a luggage walking into the station! Creepy! I just can’t stop looking at it.
