The apparition of a man in workman clothing has been standing underneath the water tower by local residents. He vanishes when approached, and appears to be confused or lost.

  1. There was a man killed here back in the late 60s/early 70s. He had been clearing snow with his tractor that had a backhoe on it. Somehow he got off of it and the backhoe swung around an pinned him to the tractor, probably the tire. That is the story as I remember it. I’m sure the haunt story has it’s basis in this incident. There was a garage located there years ago and my Dad worked there. That was pre WWII. This photo was taken in that location before the water tower was built. Probably late 1930s.
