Rumours circulating around the Duluth area claim that in 1948, a man committed suicide by jumping off the 5th level of the tower head-first. He died on impact. The man’s corpse was found hours later, and the man was never identified. Over time, visitors to the park claim to see a man on the 5th level of the tower before entering the tower. When the person reaches the top, the man is gone.

  1. I believe it is true. For some reason whenever I am at the top I have a suicidal feeling. I am urged to jump off. My brother gets the same feeling.

    • THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I was in Duluth with my high school Jazz band in 2019. We were going to preform at the U of M Duluth. We stopped by this place to check it out. Me and a few friends hopped the fence at the entrance to run up to the top. When we got to the 4th floor, I see one of the guys say “Hell no” and run back down the stairs. I decided to keep climbing. I was trying to record the view from the top but my phone randomly died, so I ran back down. The guy who ran down said someone whispered in his ear, but he saw no one near him. The girls who stayed at the ground of the tower said they saw a man on the top floor walking around. We claimed we saw no one. Even more weird, all of my memories I saved on Snapchat got deleted and they didn’t come back until 3 days later. We then looked up this place online, found out it’s haunted, and to find out what happened to us is what happens to a lot of people 0_0

  2. Every time I go to Enger Tower, I the man. One time while my husband & I were up on the 5th level, we saw the man sitting on the window sill. Also, like the other person said, he feels suicidal. When I am up there, I am sad, depressed & feel like I want to die. As soon as I leave, I am fine. The man’s energy is very strong on beautiful sunny days.
