Fairlawn Mansion and Museum

The 42-room Victorian mansion and museum are haunted by a ghost who is often mistaken for a museum guide. She is dressed in period costume like the real guides, but folks feel a cold chill when she is around. The ghost is believed by some to have been a former servant girl who was murdered by her husband. Historians say the house once served as an orphanage, and witnesses have seen and heard the ghosts of children near the swimming pool in the basement.

Hi, my name is Courtney. I have been reading more about the history of Fairlawn Mansion in Superior, WI. Last year a friend and I went to the flashlight tours around Halloween. We took pictures and found something very strange in one of the pictures. We went back this year and redid the photo just like we did before, but we never saw anything this time. In the first picture we took, my friend is holding her phone in front of a mirror while I am standing next to her. In the mirror there is clearly another person.
