Dungeon of Horrors

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Dungeon of Horrors

The Dungeon of Horrors, which originally operated as a haunted house attraction, closed down recently due to the fact that the owner was unable to employ any staff due to reports of real paranormal activity. The apparition of a bespectacled man used to follow employees and visitors around the building, and visitors also reported sighting the apparition of a man holding an axe on the ground floor. Cold spots, strange noises and other occurrences have been reported here, as well as a glowing orange apparition that appeared during night shifts.

  1. I worked here in the summer of ’99. Cold spots were frequently noticed (dead of August), chains in the attraction swung without a breeze, thumping and bumping were heard after we closed, and staff NEVER left after close alone. We did see the orange apparition, but swore to each other it was just a trick of the lights from the displays and the exit sign….

  2. I have been to Wisconsin dells before but have never experienced paranormal activity but i have never gone to these places in Wisconsin dells but i bet if i did id see the same things everyone else is seeing.

    WOW… NEVER
.AGAIN..IF IT’S NOT FROM JESUS. I DON’T WANT IT.. I WAS EATING MY M and Ms candy and had just passed through the place waiting for my cousin to come out ..it was windy and storm was on the way.
.something called my name and knocked my hand down and knocked my candy out of my hand..my cousin come out scared and said something licked and bit his ear ..i looked and it was true..we were driving my dad’s 76 newyorker on way home 30 miles outside of Dell’s the radio in car turned on by itself then off then on highway car stalled then started on its own as o steered car to shoulder of road..then we were outside black earth and radio again turned on and some weird ads scary music with whispers and talking started. WE got home and my dad asked why radio was turned on by itself several times within next week while he was driving and he said my mom says car gives her weird feeling and she won’t drive the Chrysler n.y. any more. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO AN EVIL PLACE LIKE THAT. I read in Bible where our school principle showed us in days before Christs return these things will happen a lot..

  5. Looks like it’s a paint ball range now. I was really hoping we could check it out, but I really have no interest in paint ball.

  6. you can take the dungeons of horrors away but if in fact it was indeed haunted the spirits i can guarentee wont leave…. i would love to see someone come and investigate the Paintball place which was once known to us all as the Dungeons of Horrors…

I went through the attraction as a kid with my dad in 1989.
Towards the back I saw a taller man wearing “work clothes”…similar to what a janitor would wear. He wore large glasses and I heard keys jingle. He was entirely a white-blue color and transparent. He looked at me then walked through the back wall. Perplexed, I asked my dad if he saw the “janitor” too….he did not!
