  1. My grandmother has a house in Downieville and have family ties to the town, my great great great great Grandfather was the sheriff of this town back in the 1800’s. I have heard of this legend but never explored it myself. I am going up there within the next few weeks and will report more when I find out more…… or experience it myself…
