The ghost of the famous Tejano singer Selena is said to wander about the room in which she was shot here. Though her apparition has not been seen, folks have reported the faint sound of singing and the smell of roses, along with an overwhelming feeling of sadness.

  1. I live in Corpus and remember when Selena was shot and killed. However, I have never heard of the Days Inn being haunted. I have stayed there and never heard,seen or felt anything out of the ordinary.

    Haven’t been to this particular (former) Days Inn – now a Knights Inn – but I have been to the studio where Selena recorded much of her music, and I felt an energy in that room that you wouldn’t believe! “Residual Energy” is what paranormal investigators call it.
