The historic hotel and restaurant appears to be popular with the spirit set. The apparition of a disruptive criminal shot dead on the premises has been reported in the main dining room, while the bed and breakfast quarters of the establishment are supposedly haunted by an unknown woman in distress, who has been heard calling for help in the hours between dusk and dawn, but is never seen.
