  1. It could also be noted that Roslyn is the home of a very large number of adjacent, mining era cemeteries that are effectively merged into one huge memorial acreage spread throughout many lawn and forest areas. While many sections (individual cemeteries themselves) are fairly well maintained, one can feel a somewhat haunted sensation simply by being there or near the very old architecture of Roslyn itself.

  2. We lived in a haunted house just blocks from the brick. At least two other people I know lived in haunted houses in Roslyn. Great town, but lots of ghost activity.

  3. I took my then girlfriend to see the Roselyn cemetery. (If you’ve watched Northern Exposure that is all Roselyn). The cemetery is Eastern European style…amazing place, actually something to see on a date. Anyway. While there we came upon a grave of a baby. A tiny plot, and a tiny ornate fence around it, done in Eastern European style. It really moved me emotionally.
Then we hear a baby crying. It keeps crying. It stops then it starts again.
We start looking around. No one else is there.
Then we see the crow. Its making a perfect imitation of a baby cry. Crows have among the most versatile vocal abilities, can imitate human speech or any animal sound.
It stopped making the sound soon.
Keep this in mind, the crow might have been making a sound it heard often….there at that grave.

In the summer of 2015, my brother and I were camping near Roslyn and we stopped by the Brick because of it’s reputation as a paranormal hot spot. We asked the employee about ghost activity and he allowed us to go into the basement. We brought our K-2 meters and walked around the large, creepy basement but didn’t get much activity. Then, my brother put his K-2 meter in the 3rd of 3 conjoined jail cells and got a lot of K-2 activity! He called me over and I put my K-2 meter in the same cell and also got lots of beeps and lights! Then, the activity quieted so we moved our meter to the second cell where the activity picked up again! After a moment, it died down again so we moved to the first cell and just had a small amount of activity. The employee commented “Well, that’s interesting! Other paranormal groups also found activity in that 3rd cell!”
