Used to hear things very early in the morning in Hollinger. Weird noises like a chain with tension on it, or a swinging door. Never could pin it, but always knew something was different. Spent every morning for four years there, and it was never threatening, but always something that made you think something else was in there. Like you were being watched or listened to. Can’t explain it, but it wasn’t. Normal feeling.
