Victorian Villa Bed and Breakfast

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Victorian Villa Bed and Breakfast

This historic bed and breakfast was built in the 1870’s as a retirement residence for a notable family. Since its conversion in the 1980’s to a bed and breakfast, guests and staff have reported sighting the apparition of a stern lady in an old-fashioned presence, whose presence is often accompanied by icy breezes and disembodied footsteps.

  1. I lived in Union City for 14 years and always heard of the stories aout this building. I had always wanted to investigate this building just to see if the stories were true or not. But I never took the time, I didi write to the Victorian Villa to ask about the claimed hauntings. They responded with a list of the prices they charge for stay at the Villa. I believe if it is haunted they do not want to say to keep the business going and not to scare customers away.

  2. In 1998 I stayed in the Dr. Watson room in the carriage house at the Victorian Villa in Union City, MI. I had this terrible feeling that I shouldn’t be there and I should get out. Nothing else but this horrible feeling. I think there is much negative energy there!
