That's really interesting - when I lived there in early 90's, 1st floor A dorm....I had a number of goth friends that lived in 1st floor B dorm....they loved it and called it the 'bat caves.' Never described any poltergeists though.

As someone who worked there as a CA (RA for non-Porter people) and lived there for four years, nothing paranormal was ever reported from anyone on staff or any of the residents. The A building has been completely redone in the past few years and no one has reported anything strange. B1 or the "bat caves" can be a bit creepy but that's mostly because of how the floor was planned out (the rooms are HUGE but the bathrooms are small, especially the one closest to the laundry room, and the hall is split in two separate corridors divided by the bike racks) I also wouldn't trust any ghost sightings occurring in the meadow.

I remember strange noises and things flying, as well as things taped to walls and weird people in the meadow, but that wasn't ghosts, that was the average Porter student.
