Tolomato Cemetery

You are here Home  > Cemeteries >  Tolomato Cemetery

One of the oldest in the U.S., this cemetery has a spooky story. It is said that a young woman once was being prepared for burial here, and during her funeral procession her forehead was accidentally punctured while passing under an Apopinax tree. She bled profusely; it was discovered that she was not actually dead, and she narrowly escaped from being buried alive. Six years later, the woman really did pass away and was buried in the cemetery. Witnesses say her apparition, as well as the apparitions of children, can be seen on the grounds.

I went to 3 different cemeterys and took pictures at night. I found orbs on every picture I took of the Tolomato cemetery. The others didn’t have any. I thought it might be the light angles. Then I found orbs that were between me and a large tree trunk and the angles didn’t make sense. I became a true believer when decided to zoom in on the obrs and they all had faces. My original plan was to capture ghosts on film and sell the photos to the tourists. Changed my mind after I saw all those faces, never took anymore photos
