Rumor has it that a former maid killed herself and her illegitimate daughter by jumping out the window here. It is these deaths that folks say spurred the hauntings. Female guests have reported hearing infants’ cries during the night, and male guests have been propositioned by a female voice, or even sexually assaulted, and have seen the apparition of a naked woman while they were in the shower.
According to reports, after decades of standing empty, the hotel was renovated and re-opened in 2007.

Hello I work at Marriott in bricktown I was trying to get into room w my key in room 629 I said hello house keeper I could clearly hear somebody i said hello .. And as I opened door up I seen and heard to dark shadows scuffling hard in a fight I shut door and went to other checkout to call security I was really scared about to cry it was very upsetting to me.. So security checked and I made him check closet to . he thought I was losing it lol I was serious . a bit later my boss came and said Tama you okay I said yes but I got scared she said well your not the only one even I have heard things I said really she said yes and we asked front desk about it but they are not aloud to talk about it or what has happened here .. So I researched .. Found two suicides same manner and I am on 6floor and I don’t think they did that on purpose cause a couple of times I have felt like something trying to make me fall out window seriously like the cord wrapped around my ankle and I almost fell then tripped backwards towards window I really feel sorry for these two women I feel they got pushed to there death not suicide and also I think she liked candy cause a beautiful candy can e was on my cart and I smelled black liqerish and candy keeps being in my path!” I would like to ask her family if she limed candy !” I have a feeling sh did then yesterday I left door close behind me it screamed like a women so I was like humm I will see if it makes same noise if I try to let it shut again well it did not make same noise..
This hotel is where visiting NBA teams stay when they play against the Thunder. There’s been a lot of reports from players of strange occurrences there in the past.
In the past few seasons, the Knicks blamed creaks and groans for a sleepless night before a loss. A Bulls player could not explain why his bathroom door slammed shut. A member of the Phoenix Suns woke to find his bathtub filled with water.
“The place is haunted,” Jared Jeffries told The Daily News. “It’s scary.”
His teammate Eddy Curry said he slept just two hours one night. He was the only player assigned to the supposedly spooky 10th floor, and he spent most of his time in Nate Robinson’s room, afraid to be alone.
“I definitely believe there are ghosts in that hotel,” Curry told The Daily News, which illustrated its article with a photograph not of the Skirvin but of the Bates Motel.
Weeks later, Chicago’s Taj Gibson said that his bathroom door at the Skirvin had slammed in the middle of the night for no reason. His teammate Derrick Rose was among the Bulls who heard strange bangs and bumps and became a believer.
“It was scary last night,” Rose said.
I have never stayed at the hotel but they let you walk around in even if you arent staying…well a group of friends and i were on the tenth floor and they wanted to go see the ball room at the top floor so i said ok meet you there……that was stupid of me because now i am alone or so i thought. I walked down the hallway passed a room with the door slightly ajar, i didn’t think any thing of it keep on walking. Got to the end of the hall and had to turn around and go back the way i came. Passed the door again and it felt like i was being strangled. I couldnt breath at all. Got up to the top floor to meet my friends. Told them what happened. So they wanted to go see. We went back down to the 10th floor and as soon as we got near the door again one of my friend couldnt breath and some one unseen kept calling my name. It was scary. How would anyone out side of my friend be calling my name? The group i was with were all females and the voice is deffently male. Needless to say we decided that we wanted to leave. We get out side and we all feel better until my friend points out there are hand prints around my neck and three scratches across my shoulder. Wasnt a good day for me.
I didn’t know the hotel was haunted until a passenger next to me on flight into Oklahoma. mentioned it. A camera operator and I were using one of the hotel’s conference rooms to videotape a physician’s testimonial. While setting up for the shoot, I joked about the story as I explained it to my camera op. Literally, within about two seconds of me finishing my story, and sort of teasing any spirits, our tall road case fell over on its own. These cases can be knocked over but don’t fall over on their own. We looked at each other and I immediately apologized to whatever energy felt mocked. We had no activity after that.
