The Sawyer House

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 4 days/3 nights. 3 level Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in the “Lighthouse suite” on the third floor. We later learned that the house was built in 1902 by a doctor and the upper level was the servants quarters.

Upon first entering the suite it felt cold and hard to breathe. When I entered into the second bedroom every hair on my body was tingling and had the sense of something not right.

During the first night my husband saw these greenish light squiggles that would go from the middle of the room toward the door on the ceiling. Later after we had both fallen asleep I was awoken by the bed moving and a feeling of something that had jumped on the bed. (I was terrified). Even with the light on my phone I couldn’t see anything in the room. It was very very dark. I couldn’t wake my husband and laid there awake the rest of the night. I could hear strange movements in the room.

The next day my husband noticed he had a fresh scratch on his arm and it was bleeding. We were unsure how it got there. Later in the evening I notice a HUGE bruise/bite mark on the back of my husband calf. He had no idea how it had gotten there. (Monday evening we took a picture of both the scratches and so you could see the teeth imprints).

Later that night my husband could hear the floor boards creaking on my side of the bed as if someone was pacing. The sense that we were being watched was over bearing. Sometime in the middle of the night the radio turned on in the second bedroom. My husband shut it off but could still hear noises through out the room.

The third night there was not sleep to be had. Footsteps and crackling of a cookie package in the living room
through out the night. That morning my husband was using the bathroom connected to the main bedroom and he saw a shadow across the floor in the bedroom and what sounded like someone sitting in the wicker chair in the room. When he got up, there was no one in the room.

At breakfast we overheard another couple telling the owner that they thought there was a raccoon in the walls and that they could hear scratching throughout the night. We didn’t experience this but didn’t feel this was a raccoon either.

The owner states she has had no knowledge of anyone having any experiences before
