The Riviera is one of the oldest casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, and it is rumored to be haunted, especially on its ninth floor. Many mob-related murders took place here in the years long past, and staff members have noticed voices in the stairwells and felt presences of unseen spirits. The place has been featured on TV’s Ghost Adventures.

  1. I had a couple of very strange experiences while visiting the Riviera during the sale. While walking down the hallway on the 27th floor I felt the presence of someone following me but there was no one there.
I wanted to enter the Sinatra suite but the doors were locked, so I decided to take a picture. While taking the pic On the LCD I noticed a white orb moving slowly, I looked directly at the door and it was right in front of me moving from the bottom to the top of the door. I snapped the pic and you can see it on the top left. I still don’t know what it was but I watched it until it dissapeared.

  2. I stayed at the Hotel during a security convention 2001 or 2002. I was in upper floor possibly 9th or 10th floor. I came back to my room, locked the door, and went to bed. I was awoken when it sound as if someone had entered the bathroom and was urinating in the toilet. As I laid in bed the covers were ripped off the bed (no one was in the room except me). I pulled the sheets and blanket back up (yes I covered my head) and indignantly told whatever or whoever pulled the bedding to “cut the shit” and went back to bed. I wasn’t really sure what I experienced and sadly did not ask about the room during my stay. Did anyone have a similar experience?
