This old cottage, called “The Hub” on the St Lawrence University campus, is said to be haunted by the ghost of Florence Lee Whitman, the daughter of John Stebbins Lee, a former President of the college. The famous ghost hunting couple, Ed and Lorraine Warren, visited this location in the 1970s. Lorraine claims to have witnessed a ghost in the butler’s pantry.

  1. I lived in the Hub for 3 years when I was in college. I lived in 4 different room and only one of them made me uneasy. I certainly feel that the “presidents room” the room right by the ladies bathroom on the second floor has some weird energy in it. I could never sleep well there and felt like someone was sitting on my feet a few times.

  2. I lived in one Lincoln when it was a fraternity house. I remember speaking to one of the University workers who told me that he was painting downstairs and heard footsteps upstairs. This was over the summer when no one was in the house. When he went to investigate he saw a woman or girl in flowing robes at the top of the stairs. This guy seemed completely normal to me he wasn’t a loon or crazy. He he never went back in the house again. When I lived there I never saw anything.
