This 1921 boutique hotel is supposed to be haunted by the apparition of a well-dressed man in an old-fashioned suit. Employees believe this is the ghost of a former butler, who has saved the building from demolition and despair on several occasions.

  1. We stayed there. When my wife took a shower the words ‘kill them’ were written backwards in the condensation on the mirror. This was followed by and extremely heavy feeling and unexplained scratches on my face.

  2. We checked in this afternoon, staying on the third floor. I returned alone to the room to retrieve something, and going up the stairs had a heavy feeling. On the third floor, while walking down the hallway, I felt like someone was behind me. When I told my daughter, she Googled it, and it said the hotel was reported to be haunted. Can’t wait until late tonight to walk in the hallways.

  3. Stayed in 214 at first it was nice, I took a shower and then I got a whiff of a horrible smell. It smelled like death rotting flesh. I left the bathroom and got settled for bed the smell stayed in the room all night. When we woke up I asked my 21 year old grandson if he smelled it he said no but .

  4. We stayed there last night. I had what I thought was a weird dream but possibly in that in between stage.. I heard what I think was two ladies standing over me discussing the fact that so so ( presumably a man) will not be happy with my bag and stuff in his chair. It was weird waking up remembering this.

    • I stayed there last night in room 304. I thought I heard in my head, “Kindly don’t place things on my chair.” So, I took my stuff off and didn’t put anything on there again, nor did I sit in it. I went to get ice, come back and the trash can was over on it’s side.

  5. Went on a ghost tour and got permission to walk up to the third floor. Got a very heavy feeling going up the stairs from second to third floor only around the wash bin. All 4 of us had the same heavy feeling- not scary or sad, just a presence. Very cool experience. After a few minutes, the feeling became less so we went back downstairs.

  6. Stayed there last night room 211. Around 12:30am I was woken up to a fast burst of air in my ear saying “hey”. I was startled but went back to sleep and had two horrible nightmares. Those dreams where your paralyzed. It was like in between sleep and I could see myself in the room. Something was touching my head and arms and pinning me down trying to wake me up but also wouldn’t let me wake up. Like it was messing with me. I woke up screaming and my mother who is staying with me as well was awoken from me. We were up all night and kept hearing strange noises and shadows in our room. She also had weird dreams. We heard what sounded like a women yelling and a rattlesnake rattle in the corner of the room. When I travel I usually bring a diffuser with me with essential oils for sleep. Around 4am, we were both awake watching tv, the lights on the diffuser starting turning on randomly. The diffuser turned off on its own a few hours before. We were both startled and were just staring at it. It turned on flashing a light about 4 times and then didn’t for the rest of the night. When we woke up in the morning I looked at the plug and it somehow unplugged itself from the wall? We were shocked. There is also a faint random smell of rotten eggs (sulfur) in the hall around room 208 that you’ll randomly smell. Finally fell asleep around 6am only for an hour or so and had another horrible nightmare. We have another night to stay here and not sure what will happen next :/ Definitely haunted.
