Sugar Building

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Sugar Building

In 1906 it was the Great Western Sugar Company, but now the historic building houses offices. The second floor is rumored to be a hot spot for ghostly activity. Witnesses have described hovering orbs of light that move through the second-story halls. Some folks suspect that malevolent spirits may reside in the building’s basement vault.

  1. A coworker of mine was the one who investigated this. We are on the 2nd floor and she has taken videos. They are like balls of lights. A blue streak flashing across

  2. Hi,
My name is Mike, Let me start by saying im sure you have been inundated with these requests, but hey, i’ll throw another one “in the hat” My girlfriend and I, both 30, so not rambunctious kids, were interested in possibly visiting the property for some more adult type Halloween festivities, it wont be crazy, likly my girlfriend, myself, and if my son can gather the nerve, pessibly my 10 year old so. Not to get to into personal detail, but my last few Halloweens have been kind of a bust, hopening to make it up this year. Thank you for your consideration.

  3. Spent an entire summer moving furniture and files out of this building in 1990. Quit a bit of time was spent in the basement vault and on the second floor. Unfortunately, I did not see any of the paranormal activity discussed. It has since been completely remodeled.

  4. I worked for Great Wester Sugar. I worked on the second floor. Never had any experiences. I worked swing and graveyard shifts. I worked there until they went bankrupt.
