  1. I stayed at the St. Elmo one night the end of March, 2008 with my daughter and grand-daughter. I took pictures upstairs at each end of the hallway, to see if I could get any ghost pictures with my disposable camera. The next day, I could not find my camera anywhere. I told my daughter and grand-daughter that the ghost must have taken it. We were the only people staying there, and they said children weren’t allowed but they would let us stay since no one else was there ( my grand-daughter was four). We stayed upstairs in the far back right suite (two queen beds, no t.v.). When we checked out there was nobody at the check out desk to tell about my camera. Now I see the place is haunted, especially the restaurant in the basement. I wish I could have posted a picture. My whole trip’s pictures were on that camera.
