  1. I saw a man who looked like the founder Robert Randall who stood in front of my car when I went in there at night when I was not supposed to be there. He looked uncomfortable being in the form of a man and he stood in a hostile way in front of my car. I was really scared and would not dare to return there again after dusk which is the park’s proper closing time.

  2. The Matrons house is haunted by a child. Once when visiting the security guard asked if we wanted to see the basement. When we got down there we found a cell. I immediately got finger nail marks up and down my arms as if someone was pinching me. The security guard told us that there was a matron who had a severely mentally disabled child. So she could get her work done she kelp him locked in the basement. One day after feeding him she forgot to lock the cell. He got out, stabbed her with the scissors and ran out the back. The sailors found him later that day and hung him from a tree that use to be behind the building. We were told that they are both buried on the property together in the attached cemetery.

    • Actually, they don’t exactly know what happened to the boy after he stabbed his mother, and they also said that they don’t know how he got out and that it was a mystery. But many suspect he stabbed her and was hung but they don’t know what happened to the boy. There are many stories and theories of what they did to him.
