The Jewish Baron Hirsch Cemetery was in the news for vandalism in 1960 when “Fuhrer” was painted in yellow on 87 headstones. It is said to have been haunted since the early 1800s. Nearby residents have had visits from the cemetery’s spirits, sometimes seen as shadowy figures.

  1. As someone whose lives across the street for many years. This place is DEFINITELY haunted.Ive heard a kitten crying in a tree and when I went near to help it,it started LAUGHING at me and I heard it crying in two more trees then laughing when I got close again before I ran.I have been chased out by ghost dogs. You can see the shadow people walking around randomly at times.I don’t think these spirits wish to be bothered. If you do not have a loved one buried here just be respectful and let them rest.
