The ghost of a young boy has been seen in the halls leading to the storage room around closing time, or sitting beside crates with his head down and his arms around his knees. Some say the building was a motel in the mid 1900s but local gang members burned it down.

I usually work in the bread aisle and bread is always falling off the shelfs. I found that creapy
I grew up in this neighborhood in the early 80s going on weekly trips to the Safeway. My little sister would tell us about seeing a boy all the time. She said he seemed sad. And always wanted to try and help him. Both my mom and I always felt something else, distinctly malevolent in the elevator. I was there a few months ago again and despite a new elevator I still get hairs on the back of my neck and something feels downright wrong in there.
I worked there many nights as a closing manager. On the day before Christmas we closed the doors and I made sure that our elevator was off and rows of shopping carts blocking the doorway.
The next morning,(Christmas day) we were closed, customers came to the store & upto our rooftop lot. According to customers , the elevator was on and the doors were open on the rooftop lot, so they went down.
A few other customers (some regulars of ours) came inside and noticed there weren’t any employees working, so they called the police who then called my store manager & informed him of the store being open. He came down and was baffled as to how that elevator would be on, (he knew I always double check everything) . He went to his office to look at the video placed inside the elevator to find the key hole slowly turn to ‘on’ the carts 3-4 in 2 side by side rows pushed out of the way. There’s definitely a ghost there with a sense of humor,..I think.
I am a Grocery Manager at a Safeway store in southern Arizona. My store has multiple hauntings. Most recently a man about 25 years of age roams around the backroom hallway and the perimeter of the store. I’ll be walking around the store at night and more often than not it will knock tortillas off of the shelf as I am walking by. On another occasion I was by myself finishing up the liquor load when a potted plant fell off of a table in the neighboring floral department. Quite frequently I can see it on the corner of my eye at night in the backroom and random other places on the sales floor. I don’t feel threatened by it or the others at all. I just find it interesting and would like to know what happened to these lost souls.
Bread is constantly falling off the shelves where I often work in the bread section. That felt creapy to me.

When I work in the bread aisle, bread bitlife keeps sliding off the shelves. That gave me the creeps.
