It's an unusual ghost who haunts this resort. Employees say the wife of a former owner of the building, before it became a resort, has been spotted on the second floor wearing a 1930s red dress and riding her motorcycle. She has also been seen on the third floor. Photo Gallery

I visited the Resort with my daughter and went in and out of areas on the second floor. Here at the top of the stairs you find the pipe organ room. If you go either right or left you see a bathroom and then a bedroom on each corner. I went to the right bedroom and looked in what I thought was a closet, but had another door that lead to the speakers. That is where the first cold draft I felt. I did not know of any paranormal activity before hand. As I walked through to the bathroom, I felt like being fallowed and into each room. Upstairs was closed off and the presence stopped. I went back into the Oregon room and caught movement upstairs off the corner of my eye of a shadow near the library. Then again cold near me. As I waited for my daughter, I heard a female voice say 'Alice" three times. The voice was slurred a little. At night in the hotel Room I woke to a light on in the bathroom. I turned it off and went to bed and the light went on again. On check out I asked the staff who was Alice. They explained to me she was the wife of the second owner that worked in San Francisco. He bought the place as his wife liked to drink, party and mess around with guys. What I gathered that she was an embarrassment to her husband and was moved there to no longer be one where he worked. .Explains the Slurred speech. They also told me that one time it was a bed and breakfast and that the guests where fondled at night. Again explains things. Why did she connect to me? Next time I bring my Ghost Box with me. She has something I am sure she wants to say. I have the gift.
