Redwood Library and Athenauem

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Redwood Library and Athenauem

Founded in 1747, it is the oldest community library still occupying its original building in the United States. A male entity has been sighted by staff wandering around the library during the evening, and people report that the eyes in the paintings on the walls follow them as they move around the room.

  1. Even though I’m no psychic, I am always on the lookout for proof of the paranormal. I went to three different mansions in Newport, Rhode Island, and while wandering around the Breakers mansion taking photographs, I suddenly felt dizzy and lightheaded, as if I were about to pass out.
