  1. In the tower you can see children at certain times. There’s walking up and down the stairs inside. Also you can see in one of the bedrooms where somebody has been sitting on the bed. A local paranormal investigation group has an evp of a male voice tell someone to answer the phone which had rang during the investigation.

  2. I have heard about the Porter house being haunted. When I was little I remember hearing about the family visiting for the holidays and they went up to the tower. Well later that night when they sent the kids off to bed. A young boy went back up to the tower and shut the trap door in the floor and couldn’t get it open and froze to death. That is the ghost of the child they see sometimes in the tower. Not 100% sure if it’s ture. But that’s what I have heard.

  3. My ex and I went there to visit. There was a snotty kid on the tour with us and he wandered off into one of the upstairs rooms and came back screaming, his face was white and he was stammering something about spiders all over the walls. Then the rocking chair on the upstairs landing started rocking. I wonder if it’s a little kid spirit picking on him.
