The Plumer Street house is near the center of town along the first part of the street nearest Maxwell Road. The 2-story house is the site of many tortured souls and has been the site of many deaths. From the house have come wails and cries of tortured infants, and many deaths are said to have occurred here. Thudding sounds, flickering lights, and an apparition of a woman with a baby have been reported, as well as many more unexplained phenomena.

  1. I disagree w Alex Hengen. He must have the wrong house in mind. I lived in that house for a little over a year. I went to 4the grade & part of 5th there. Miss Olson, my teacher told me things about the history of the house & how it was used as a boarding house for students who would ride their horses in from the country during the winter months. It wasn’t until a few years after we moved that I’d heard of the haunting stories. It all made sense then.

  2. This home is falling in totally condemned. The owner doesn’t want anyone close to the building. Most of the building has rotted away and fallen in. Might as well take it off as a haunted location.
