  1. I worked at Moviemax as a manager. One evening after we had closed another employee who was a projectionist and I were conversing and rethreading the projectors. Mind you the projection booth stairwell began next to the men’s restroom and the exit/entrance of theater 4. (It was 4, not 3 known for its activity) Suddenly we
heard the sound of two male voices arguing and some scuffling as if a physical altercation had begun. The sound of someone stumbling on the projection booth stairs topped the crescendo. We ran to the stairwell only to be greeted by emptiness. We spent the next half hour searching all four auditoriums. All doors were locked and no one could be found.

The next time we worked together we discussed the events as being peculiar. A girl who’s family had worked cleaning the theaters over night asked if we were talking about theater 4. She then told us that someone had stabbed someone else in the back of the auditorium. Not sure it was connected but several of us always had the feeling of someone watching us clean during the day and felt the irresistible urge to run the hell out of their as if being chased.

I also on several occasions saw a shadow outside the projection booth as if someone was coming up the stairs or standing just outside the door. It was always empty. I hated closing at night.
