Housed in a building that was once the city hall, the museum is said to be haunted by the ghost of a little blonde girl who appears wearing a blue 19th-century dress and white apron. Footsteps and stomping are also heard, and reports say the ghost of the old doctor who had an office off the upstairs library can be heard shuffling papers and squeaking his chair.

  1. I worked there for a few months, years ago. I saw the girl in the blue dress. She smiled at me and looked like a real person, until she was gone in a flash. Many times I could hear sounds from the old doctors office…anything from opening desk drawers, shuffling papers, or the squeaking and rolling of the old office chair in there. A couple of times I went to look when I heard the sounds…no one was there and everything went silent.
