Pigman Road

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Pigman Road

Holland Road is nicknamed Pigman Road because of legends of the ghost of a deranged butcher that date back to the 1950s and ’60s. Folks said when he was alive, he would put pigs’ heads on stakes outside the shop, which was thought to have been located on Holland Road. Another story says the butcher shot a man and hung his body on a meat hook.

    1. I live right in the area, been through there twice tonight around 9 PM when it’s totally dark. First time I thought I saw a person run behind the car while I was going slow held up by a guy in a Colorado ahead of me. Second time through it was open road. Hard to see much when you’re flooring it through there.
