Palomar Inn

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Palomar Inn

Dating back to the 1920’s, this historic inn formerly served as sleeping quarters for travellers between the major towns such as San Diego and Los Angeles. The hotel features a whole assortment of memorabilia, such as a phoenix totem hanging over the hotel entrance to bring good luck. Alas, this is only a story, as the place was inundated during the floods of 1993. However, there are plentiful ghost stories about the place to make up for the lack of lucky charms. Guests have reportedly heard arguing voices and gunshots emanating from an empty hallway, while two women cleaning an upstairs suite fled in terror after encountering the apparition of a man in an old-fashioned suit.
