At this apartment complex off of Town Center Boulevard and John Young Parkway, reports say a resident witnessed cold spots, lights turning on by themselves, and strange sounds. A shadowy form of a man was seen as well. The strange occurrences were attributed to the fact that the apartment is said to sit on land that used to be Native American burial grounds.

  1. This place is totally haunted. We moved here in august and started noticing our thermostat would be moved to either the very top and the temp in our house would be 90+ degrees or it would be moved all the way to the bottom and our temp in the apt would be in the 44’s. That had happened about 5 times. Electrical issues happened with our brand new microwave. Our oven sparked and then quit working. The door knobs would move by them selves. I have been grabbed in my sleep and my husband has been grabbed in the living room. I have woken up two different times around 4 am to a sweet smell like a dessert cooking in the oven but Boone is awake the oven was not on. Some of the neighborhood kids have said that a man was killed at a golf course around this apartment by an alligator

  2. I lived in the Vistas for many years. I had strange and reoccurring things in my home happen that just did not and could not have a reasonable explanation. I had a guest who was a sceptic until he saw what I was seeing for years. I’m happy I moved away.

  3. I lived in Hunters creek from 1991-2003 and I can attest to the fact that there is most definitely some strange things going on.

    My experiences are as follows:

-I saw my closet door move on it’s own

-I heard the door handle on the door leading out to the garage jiggle twice like someone was trying to get in. Thought it was my imagination at first but the family dog looked towards it and barked.

-saw the light in the bathroom flick on and off. My attention was diverted in that direction due to hearing what sounded like someone bumping into the wicker clothes hamper in the bathroom.

    – I had a stuffed animal on top of the hutch of my computer desk fly down and land on the keyboard right in front of me. Where it fell seemed too far over for something to have simply fallen naturally. When it happened i saw it out of my perherial vision spinning as it came towards me. I put it back and said to myself ‘if it happens again it’s not a coincidence’. Sure enough 3-5 mins later it got thrown at me the exact same way and landed in the exact same spot.

-my mom saw an orb come float across the kitchen and disappear into the wall.

-one of my dad’s friends reported getting sucker punched in the stomach while sleeping.

-one of my brothers friends told me that he and my brother saw the closet door in his bedroom move on it’s own

-mom said the tv once turned on spontaneously, we both saw it flip channels with nobody touching the remote.

-once a music box that nobody had touched for months spontaneously started playing music. Me and my mom were talking to each other while we were next to it. We both turned and looked like WTF?

-occasionally you would hear what sounded like footsteps on the roof or somebody walking around in the attic. Mom said she even investigated once because it sounded like someone or something was up there.

-on more than a few occasions the doorbell rang on it’s own and a few times it sounded like somebody knocked on the door. I knew it wasn’t pranksters because i was sitting in the kitchen with the blinds open in full view of where the front door was. Our house was set up so one of the breakfast nook windows faced the door.

-I have left out details about where exactly in hunters creek i lived. I don’t want to scare the current residents. For all i know the ghost/spirit has left them alone. I have heard that the native Americans had resided on the surrounding lands. According to some members of my family we have Native American ancestry, though not from the same tribe that lived in the region.I wonder if Native American spirits are attracted to others of native decent. Anyone with Native American ancestry who feels more targeted than normal with paranormal events?
